MS Access to E-mail Updates?

Is it possible to get an Access database to E-mail a specified address each time someone updates it?

 

I have an Intranet form set up that updates an access database when a staff memeber fills it out. I tried to check server extensions so that I could send to a file and to E-mail recipient but this did not work (doesn't seem to be set up? ).

 

Can I set up something in access or add some script into my form to make it update my database and e-mail the database manager? I've never really played around with this stuff before so any help would be much appreciated.
