On a side note, the snow has been brilliant for xmas shopping the week before xmas; plenty of car parking places, no ques at the tills, and very few old biddies clogging up the isles

Yep, went out and did it yesterday Usually do it on xmas eve but last year decided to stop that practice and do it on the internet. I'm so glad I didn't do that this year with the post and all! Been speaking to some very worried people who are still waiting on gifts from the 'net, as although they will get their money back if they cancel, simply don't have the cash to now go to the shops and buy their pressies.

Can some one tell me the best way of clearing snow off the roof with out damaging the paint work? I clear it so I am only left with a thin layer then I am stuck.

 

For a thin layer, you are fine... I keep one of these in the garage for pushing off deeper accumulations:

My last package from Amazon arrived as I got into school this morning which was convenient. We still have packages from the family that haven't arrived.
