I I am looking to update our backup exec 11d. We are currently cusing this to backup to disc then to tape.

 

We need to backup sql server sims.

Esxi virtual machines

Linux ubuntu

I would like a product that will backup the systems live as now they are always in use 24/7.

have you looked at Microsoft System Center: Data Protection Manager

Zmanda (Zmanda: The Leader in Open Source Backup & Cloud Backup) is one possibility, although if you want to backup the ESX VMs you're probably better off looking at an ESX backup product like Veeam.
