I found FacePINCH real-time Facebook search | FacePINCH [facepinch . com] a while back. It scrapes publicly accessible Fb profiles and indexes their status updates..

 

Perhaps some well executed screenshots of this site could show students learning about e-Safety what it's possible to see from their profiles - this data is obviously available to anyone any where..

 

I also use it to track mentions of the school name on unsecured Facebook accounts to see what the general vibes are from the student body. Although I haven't decided what to do with abusive messages etc. yet - I suppose send them to our Safeguarding Officer for him to decide what the best course of action should be.
