GrumbleDook Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Many congratulations to those who have just completed the next lot of FITS Practitioner training in Northants. Yet again we see 100% pass rate (with some nice high marks too!) Give yourself a round of applause.
GREED Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 I saw this posted on twit this morning Tony (thanks for the follow btw!), and until then I had not heard of FITS, and so investigated somewhat. Can you describe for my own benefit what this is as a qual?
Kitkatninja Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 It's a best practice methodology aimed at Education (you can see my comparison between 3 here). Based on ITIL, so imo it is an added bonus especially if you leave education. The level 4 qualification "Practitioner" sits at the same level of a HNC/HND (both sit at level 4, not to be confused with it being equal to them - due to the amount of modules/credit). The level 5 qualification "Manager" sits at the same level of an unclassified degree (not to be confused with it being equal to them - due to the amount of modules/credit). -Ken 1
