CCTV Cable Help!!!

Hi,

We have the following 'Digital Sprite 2 PLUS' system in our establishment. We need to purchase a cable for the keyboard, we believe it needs a 485-bus cable.

 

Can anyone help, we need to see if we can purcase a long wire

485 is just a serial protocol.

 

Do you have a keyboard connected to enable you to move ptz cameras etc...???

 

All you need to do is to take some cat5 and wire that in using a pair of wires.

Hi,

The problem that we have is that we have a cable that runs from and old office, where the using is in a rack, to our server room, were the monitors are. Recently the keyboard doesn't work from the server room, only when plugged into the unit, so we thought that if we can buy a long cable for it and run it from that office to the server room, it would solve the issue, and be cheaper than paying all of the callout charges
