[sims] Assigning Multiple Rooms to a Member of Staff

I have classes which are taught in a classroom but need to have the Gym available to them during the period. How could I best reflect the need for 2 rooms to a class in NOVA-T6?

Is this just a singular class, ie 1 teacher etc, so basically this class just needs 2 rooms as opposed to 1?

Yes, in this example one PE teacher needs access to a 'standard' classroom and the gym during certain periods of the timetable

In NT6 just find the lesson/class on a timetable. Right click the class and then click Add Room. You can add as many rooms as you wish to!

 

I have an instance on the timetable where one member of staff is attached to two classes and three rooms! (Don't ask!!)

We add the rooms on NT6 as the posts, however does anyone know how to get the multiple rooms to show on sims as it only brings through one room?

I'm interested in how other people do this. I too add a room to a class to achieve the desired result, but see inconsistencies in SIMS. If you look at the teacher's timeline, then it shows two instances for each lesson, one in each room. Similarly, if you browse to a member of staff and then view their timetable you see a red square with a number '2' on each period that has two rooms assigned to it. If you click on this you see two instances of the class.

 

My problem comes from the fact that PARS, which we use for mobile registration amongst other things, won't treat these sessions as double lessons meaning that a teacher has to take a register twice. I'm interested to know if other schools have alternative methods to add additional rooms that would solve this problem for us.
