Champagne and cricket - a great start to a day :)

We won the cricket by an innings and 71 runs

 

The chair of our PTA has just given me rather good bottle of champagne to say than you for all my help.

I can hardly wipe the smile off my face! Although I was slightly disappointed that there was nothing to listen to when I got up specially early this morning.

Was there some form of cricketing event on?

Cracking performance by England. Glad they didn't mess about, managed to get a relatively early night of 1:15am

Was really dissapointed with Australia, they seemed to give up and it lacked that normal edge you get with an ashes test.

I stayed up and watched it too. I only meant to watch a little bit, but got hooked! I couldn't quite believe that England weren't going to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory... or that it didn't look like it was going to rain!

Yep, the mrs is not best pleased with me, every night of the match it's been 'I'll just watch the first hour', think the earliest I've made it to bed in the first 4 days was 4am:o
