linkazoid Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 (edited) Hi, We have over 65,000 photos that have been taken over the past 15 years. None are catalogued or labeled. I was wondering if anyone uses any software to sort photos so that all staff can easily find photos to use in work and displays. Preferably FREE.... :-) Thanks, Michael Edited December 6, 2010 by linkazoid Want it to be free.
edutech4schools Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Could look at Google picasa they have a desktop app that links with the website version. If hosting on-site have a look at gallery V2 works with linux and Windows, V3 only linux.

Tricky_Dicky Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Picassa is awesome. Have it installed as the default image editor for all our machines and it works a treat. Using the folder manager you just point it to which ever folder you want to scan and it will do the rest. Obviously the more photos the longer it will take, but it gets there in the end.
