Hi All,

I had set our internal helpdesk to snow during December and by coincidence that was the first day it actually started to snow (outside). This got me thinking how great it would be to have a style based on the current weather conditions.

I've had a quick google and found the yahoo weather xml thingy but that seems to be only for the US.

Does anyone know how to do this for the UK?

Thanks all,

Dan

Yahoo have a weather API seemingly for the whole world. E.g.

Yahoo! Weather - Newcastle upon Tyne, GB

You just need the "WOEID" (Where On Earth ID) of the location you want the weather for. Go here (England Weather Forecasts | Maps | News - Yahoo! Weather), find your location, and look at the URL of the page you end up on. It will end in a number - that's the WOEID.
