Laurence Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Hi All I have used a good range of monitoring software, iTalc, Impero, Tutor etc. But, what I would really like to do is have this kind of control and be able to communicate with the class/groups/individuals with mic/headsets. I know that hardware based solutions are available, but I know of at least one company that was working on a software based solution. I can't remember their name, it was a few years ago, but I would imagine that they were not the only company on the case. Is there anything out there that will do the job? Thanks
gnordli Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Laurence, can you explain a bit more on what you are looking for? Is this for a virtual type of delivery, or LAN based? Grokworx has a solution that allows you to provision virtual labs (hosted in the cloud and/or LAN) and see what the student is doing by visiting their desktop, and they also have an audio conferencing solution embedded into their platform. Dos_Box Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 As Russ said. NetSupport has had voice facilities built in for soem time now and, as a product is ver good. I'd buy NetSupport Manager as you get NetSupport School for free
Laurence Posted November 21, 2010 Author Posted November 21, 2010 Thanks Guys. Just what I needed to know. What I was after was the ability to talk over a headset to a class, parts of a class, individuals while I am watching what they are doing at my PC. NetSupport looks like a good starting point. Cheers
