smoothwall l2tp vpn

can anyone give me the steps to configure smoothwall as vpn and xp/windows 7 client , i have tried the steps in smoothwall l2tp cheatsheet but did't succeded .

I would also like some assistance with this. Followed the Smoothwall (AF2008) help documentation to the letter - still failed miserably
