[ms office - 2010] SIMS Report

Hi,

 

We've run a SIMS report into Excel and whereas everything is fine, we can't change the date format..

I think I'm being quite thick here, does anyone have any advice?

I believe date formats in Excel have always been a problem.

 

Does it need to be in Excel instead of RTF with a choice of date formats?

Massive problem for ages (although hardcoded dates should be fine, like dates of birth). The biggest culprit were user defined fields that were dates, and were always coming out in American format if the day date was less that 13, otherwise it would be fine, which was actually worse! We got around it by putting into an RTF and the copy into Excel which then gave correct results.
