I have changed the post tile to something that should not trip LA filters so that thread listing pages won't get blocked.

Blocking http://clients1.google.co.uk/webpagethumbnail looks like it would work. Haven't tested it but it looks like it should.

The strict safe search still lets stuff through as far as I can see, but how does blocking your link help? I'm having a blond moment!

It does work i have tried it. It just blocks the source of all the preview images. So they do not display. When you try to preivew you get the attached.

 

You will be best off block this: http://clients1.google.*/webpagethumbnail

 

That way it will get all google searches on all countries rather than just the UK

Ah I see what you mean. The students can't get the preview images here so I think I have buttoned it down ok. They will have to get used to looking for images elsewhere!
