Need a scanner

Can anyone recommend a standard A4 scanner - the actual model - that will work with both XP Pro AND Win 7?

Canon Lide 110 - we use them, simple USB powered

I love the Canon Lide scanners. Not least because they are so portable... Compact, light-weight, USB powered, no mains.

 

I've installed the drivers on every PC in the school; they are kept in neoprene zipped covers and can be borrowed from the Library for use by a teacher/class.

Do you install the CD drivers or just the ones off the website as people are suggesting?

I copied the CD to the server and installed from that... given that we don't have many PCs and I rebuilt the image of the ICT Suite machines over the summer, it didn't take long.
