jimmy_2k Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Hi all, We have some visually impared students at our school and the councils VIP adviser has visited the school and asked me to look into providing software on all classroom teacher PCs (the ones running IWBs) so that the student can view the teachers screen from their dedicated laptop. She suggested VNC Viewer and some other schools use this, however I have concerns as these PCs are also used for viewing SIMS and if a student managed to get into VNC over the network and view peoples desktops this won't be very good! Any advice appreciated!
TechSupp Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 We have a similar situation and we have just used a video splitter to allow the student to view the teachers laptop/pc on a larger monitor. No access to the PC, only viewing.
