1 year temporary contract, 30 hours a week term time + 1 week. Likely to become a permanent at the end of the contract (the schools position on this will obviously be reviewed nearer the time).

Works out to about £10,871 p.a. take home (or £15,725 pro rota)

 

Hours likely to be mon-fri 9am-3pm although It's hoped the right candidate will be flexible in working hours.

 

About 60% of the time will be spent doing regular ICT Technicians duties in school - replacing toners, changing passwords, learning how the servers work, etc

And around 40% will be spent supporting local feeder schools so a full driving license is essential.

Also it is hoped that the right candidate might be able to spend a little time helping redesign our schools website.

 

This is an ideal post for a recent school or college leaver looking to take their first steps in an IT career.

 

We're primarily looking for someone who is passionate about IT and has good grounding in the basics - ie, I'm not expecting qualifications or previous experience - although either/both would be an advantage. I'm looking for someone with a keen interest in IT and Networking and a willingness to learn.
