Nij.UK Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Im new to exchange and have just set up 2003 and as the clients am running outlook 2003.... Ive got it working well i think so, ive managed to get internal mail working and have got web access going on the server..... and i can get the clients to connect to the exchange box...... but only when the user is using roaming profiles.... As you can guess from the title, when i user with mandatory profile tries to access outlook the client gets and error and just wont load.... So is there a way to get outlook 2003 to work with mandatory profiles? or if someone can point me in the right direction..... Cheers
ajbritton Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 I don't know if there is an easy way, but I'm sure the Flex Profile Kit will enable it to work.
Nij.UK Posted January 26, 2007 Author Posted January 26, 2007 Thanks AJ Ive just had a look at the Flex Profile Kit, and i might be being just stupid here, but what does it actually do?? Im a bit confused
plexer Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Allows you to take bits from having roaming profiles and having mandatory ones and combine the 2 so you can have the best of both worlds. Ben
Nij.UK Posted January 26, 2007 Author Posted January 26, 2007 Has anyone implemented the above, is it pretty straight forward to do, or needs time to play around with and tweak??
Nij.UK Posted January 26, 2007 Author Posted January 26, 2007 I think i am really looking for a quick fix, and well there clearly isnt one....
