timbo343 Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 We are having trouble uploading multiple files to fronter via java. Single file uploads are fine. I have read a thread on here about adding a new rule in ISA and make it policy number 1, but either i havent configured it right or the 2nd policy (the websense blockpage) is still overriding it. I have set the fronter rule up by using All outbound traffic from Internal/local host to Fronter (https://fronter.com/northyorks/*) for all users. Multiple files upload without any problems when we by-pass the ISA server and connect straight to the cisco firewall. Thanks
asangster Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Hi yep I have the same problem at School some help would be great we have Smoothwall?Guardian plus UTM1000...We get no help from either Smoothwall or Fronter
linkazoid Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 @asangster: We had the same problem. A quick call to SmoothWall and they sorted us out. You need to add fronter.com to the "Do not require authentication" section on Guardian - Authentication - Settings and also add it to the associated user defined category. Ours is called "Unauthenticated IPs Allow" Michael
asangster Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Hi sorry for delay... yep we have done that infact we added a whole range of IP address's as well. The thing is sometimes it works sometimes it don't mostly don't. We think it might be something with the UTM 1000 firewall we have here which works with our Guardian box.I just thought someone might know. Guardian took a copy of the Guarian settings but as yet they have not got back to us.It is driving the fronter Guy at school nuts.
