pcstru Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 Not being a current user of SIMS I don't know the real answer but I'm told SIMS does not handle P Scales properly - i.e. it will record a pupil's achievement as P but not record points on the P scale, so tracking progress is impossible. Is this true or is my source misinformed?
rh91uk Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 As far as I am aware if it set up fine then it should be ok! http://www.doncaster.gov.uk/Images/Appendix%20D%20-%20P%20Scales_tcm2-70395.pdf 1

Banjo Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 Did you mean the newish point system (2009) that have been added to P levels? They used to be all classed as having 3 points, now a P8 is worth 7, P6 is worth 6 etc..
