The Maths department are chasing us up on getting this working I am running out of ideas

The server side and client side software is working. The users can open the software and use most of the resources.

The problem is the staff can't open the 461 resource exe files.

These exe files are spread out in lots of folders and sub folders so I don't want to have to create a file rule for each file to allow the staff to run them. I have tried creating a path rule ie "\\server\stc\Software\Maths\OxBox\7 Assessment\database\Content\*" but this didn't seem to work. I have also checked the Share and Security permissions but still no luck.

Has anyone else got this working? have you got any suggestions?

Have you tried changing one or two files directly to see if that allows it? If you export a file from the oxbox you can see its "index name" (as in the name used by the software to reference the resources). So find one within the oxbox itself, export it, then hunt down that .exe and change its permissions, then back in the oxbox check to see if it can be run.
