newcareer Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Hi all, When I send out my unmarked register reminders from SIMS the ones to one of the staff keep getting bounced back saying he isn’t an ‘authorised sims user’. But he is an authorised tecaher Thanks
newcareer Posted September 29, 2010 Author Posted September 29, 2010 Just an update, I cant find the staff when I go to Focus| Alerts | General messages and search to send a general message, but I can find his information if I search for a member of staff
LosOjos Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Does he have a username and password that he uses to log in to SIMS? If so, you need to check it's linked to his employee details record in SIMS and hasn't been created as an 'unknown' user (your SIMS system manager will be able to check this)
newcareer Posted September 30, 2010 Author Posted September 30, 2010 He does have a username and password, and he is and was able to successfully login to SIMS
Brucy Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Does his timeline in SIMS (on the homepage) have his classes on it? We had a similar problem with a cover supervisor who effectively had two accounts. In systems manager, check their details - if it will let you alter information (name, address etc) then their SIMS username isn't associated with their employee record and will need to be re-setup.
newcareer Posted September 30, 2010 Author Posted September 30, 2010 There is no duplicate account, only one record exists
vikpaw Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Issue sorted, Thanks Please share the solution to help others...
