[ms office - 2007] Powerpoint Pointer options not working during slideshow

Hello All,

 

Hope you can all help me. In the school i work at we have office 2007 installed across the site and 1 computer has suddenly deceided to stop allowing anyone to annotate over a slide show using the pen option from the right click menu or option from the bottom left bar with the advance arrows. I have tried doing a repair install of Office pro plus 2007 but this has not worked. We use promethean whiteboards and the software for them and pen works fine. I have tried google but only found people with the same or similar problem but no answers.
