User credentials constantly required when accessing network shares

Logged in as a user with admin permissions (windows 7 workstation), but whenever I access a share on the server (2008 R2) I'm prompted for my user credentials. Arrgh, gets rather annoying after entering them for the 10th time in less than an hour!
