The links on the Student desktops run fine. But the Staff Desktop is another matter.

When I select any shortcut it comes up with a message box saying

"Open File - Security Warning"

Whilst files from the Internet can be useful, this file type can potentially harm your computer"

Help - how do I get rid of it?

Redirected Desktop?

Look at Site to Zone Assignment within the Internet Explorer settings in group policy and make sure the name of the server you're redirecting the desktop is in the trusted list.

If it's not happening for the student desktop what is the difference here?

Hi Kim

I don't know - but if I reset the roaming profile everything is OK.

Would removing the zone information on the file/executable the shortcut points to also get rid of this message? e.g. using Streams.exe via the command prompt.

streams.exe -d "C:\Program Files\Example\Program.exe"
