rocknrollstar Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Hi, we've started using Google Calendar as our main diary, with many staff using google apps accounts to manage the diary. Our head would like staff to have access to the Google Calendar when they are away on courses/meetings etc, to see if they are able to attend next meetings etc. I.E. remote access to GC. What's the best, most cost effective way to get access to google calendar? Web browsers on a mobile don't do justice to GC. Is it simply getting a PAYG mobile that has a google calendar app on it (Android phone?) with bundled data access? Any suggestions of a cost effective plan that won't cost the school too much for it's fairly limited usage? Thanks in advance!
arwen Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 (edited) Not sure if you have looked at this site, but it seems to have everything you can do regarding calendar. Google Calendar Not sure about the calendar side of it, but the gmail app for symbian phones only updated when u asked it too, so very little data transfer. creese Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I have a google calendar on a webpage, that way anyone can see it from a PC or mobile with internet access.
