Junior Librarian Import of Pupils

Got to that time of year where we update the pupils etc in Librarian, usually just use the report in SIMS that exports the data automatically to a floppy drive but now the admin PC's don't have a floppy drive. Has this routine been updated to export to a USB drive etc now, can't check on the website as the school have decided to stop paying for support. If it has can anyone send me a copy of the report thats run?

PM me your email address and I'll throw you the report. Don't need to use a floppy drive at all, it'll work through USB but you'll need the last but one update to do that (3.27 iirc?)

After three years of having to hack around with reports and CSV imports and so (this is for Eclipse.net and CMIS, mind, so YMMV) I finally caved and bought MLS Connect. It is a piece of art, no hesitation signing off the £75 subscription for the time it saved me.

 

Imports take about thirty seconds now
