I give up - just can't kill the dogs correctly in special ops. Is there some magic way of doing this ?

I have changed the controllers to tatical [ so instead of R3 I am now pressing B ] - B comes up when being attacked and it's 50/50 if I get the dog.

Really getting hacked off with this now and this is an excellent example of why I just give up with games.....
