Managing a HP Procurve on VLANxx

Hi all!

 

Having some issues managing a HP Procurve 2626 on a VLAN other than VLAN1. (Well not technically)

 

Basically I have managed to make the management interface VLAN 960 BUT i cannot seem to telnet to the switch unless I also have an IP address in VLAN1!

 

Is it possible on a HP switch to change the management vlan? (Not using the Management-Vlan command as I don't want a dedicated VLAN for it, just for it not to be on VLAN1 so IP addresses can be reused)

default gateway was incorrectly left as the old vlan... o dear!

 

must have stared at the console for too long today!
