pritchardavid Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Quick question and hopfully easy answer I have a 2008R2 Remote Desktop Server with all the roles installed for it expect Virtual Desktop currentlly At the moment it all works via the external ip address we have throughjt the web interface. How can I get this working internally throught the web interface has well? That way teachers can use it at school, if they dont have an application on their laptop and plus we can show people who have problem connecting at home inside the school One one more How can I get it so the domain box is prefilled with the domain name? This I think stops most of the people logging in, cause there not reading the instructions that I uploaded.
SYNACK Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Depends on your internet gateway setup, with split DNS you could setup an overriding copy of the external domain name of it to point to an internal address. If it is on a DMZ then it all really depends on how your internet connection and TS server are conected together.
