Ranger and Windows 7

Has anyone managed to get start menu and desktop to work on windows 7 machines with ranger on, we have thr new version of ranger which is meant to be windows 7 friendly but i cannot get this to work

What version of Ranger are you running? Upgrade to the latest version so that you have the latest ADM's and then load log into client pc's to ensure they are also upgraded (automated post upgrade of Ranger for Network). After this you should be able to configure the Policy to apply your settings: Environment > Windows Vista/7 > 'Group' > Policies. Note you cannot copy and paste Policy from Windows XP into Windows Vista/7. Remember that some icons will not work on Windows 7 as their paths would have changed so you will need to recreate new shortcuts and paste them onto your Desktop and Start Menu.
