Is there any way in Academic Manager (Focus, School, Curriculum assignment by Scheme) to only view 'Current' students and not students who have left. This would make the totals at the bottom of the screen much more meaningful. Also a print option on this screen would be fantastic. Edited by SimsKitten

Not sure, but aren't they there because they have had membership during the date range you are looking at. So if you narrow the date range it should only show current students. Change the range to be from today onwards.

For me, i'm currently seeing students with ticks in brackets as they are future students within my date range, if i push the date range forwards, they appear with ticks. I think your issue is similar.

The students who are greyed out are external students who were admitted and then changed there mind on the day they were supposec to arrive. So they were never really students of our school, I have been advised that because they are externals and never attended I can 'delete' them.

Souldn't giving them a leaving date get rid of them?

(please note that I've not really dealt with the curriculum assignment stuff though I believe I've got 4 days of exciting T6 training to look forward to later this year)

Played with this on my test data for 5 minutes today (all the time I had to sit down in my office) and I think, if you alter the filter to select a year group, it might filter out those who have left. Not ideal, but might be a solution? It might not even work, the data I was using was from just before term started so probably won't have refreshed it's self properly for the current academic year.

If you are looking at the assignment across the whole Academic Year then, obviously, they will appear. If you are using a date range after the date these pupils were made to leave then they will not show.

This has already been explained in a post above!
