pettit87 Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Is there a way to turn off network discovery in group policies? We are running Server 2008 Remote desktop and all users have access to see the 'Network' under the navigation pane. Even if this panel is removed they can still see network machines in applications. How can we stop this. Using NT permission all the servers are locked down but users can see some of the unhidden shares.
kevin_lane Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 i think you need the network discovery if you are using windows 7 clients and windows 2008 server 1
