sted Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 put in a 2008r2 server onto an existing 2003 domain all went well sysvol replicated etc but later in the day i noticed scripts in netlogon were not being replicated. Everything else does can creat new accounts in ad , removed dns and rebuilt it on one server that replicated. Sites and services force replication works fine. Any ideas. Event log is empty no clues there
littlehoughton Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Hi Check that the FRS service is enabled on the windows 2008 DC and check the eventvwr again for any replication issues on all DC's in your environment. The following article may help when troubleshooting replication issues; Troubleshooting File Replication Service FRS creates text-based logs in the %systemroot%\debug\ntfrs_*.log directory to help you debug problems if there are no FRS events.
sted Posted August 22, 2010 Author Posted August 22, 2010 fixed it in the end. Created a 3003 vm and replication to that worked fine from the 08 box. demoted and re promoted the 2003 box (and apart from killing wsus) it was last checked all ok
