Classic start menu

Hi all,

 

For some reason, even though the GPO has been turned off, I still seem to be getting a classic start menu on 2 machines I have tried to log in to. User is not using a roaming profile.

 

Any ideas?

Do you mean a boxy start button and taskbar?

 

I've noticed this... deleting the locally cached profile seems to fix the problem.

Sometimes it gets stuck in the user profiles and you need to kill the profile to remove the offending setting, I'm sure there is a specific bit to kill but nukeing the whole profile is generally easier.
