Just broken my template on my live site. Can someone help please?

I was just trying to move everything from the right side of my schools site so I only had a column down the left hand side and a nice larger area to the right for articles. However when I hid everything on the riight colum n things went a bit weird. I now have a massive area to the right of my page which is just blank. Now this is a template issue as when I change the template the problem goes away.

Could anyone suggets where in a template this setting may be?
