amd laptop

What's the general concensus. I've tried to stick with Intel in school but I need some laptops and we don't have a lot of money. I've been offered a good deal on a Toshiba with AMD Athlon™ X2 Dual-Core Processor 2.1GHz. These are for teachers, so they won't be doing any heavy stuff that's school related.

How much are they and whats your price budget?? I have had nothing but problems with Toshiba recently; in particular their incompetent repair centre in Germany. Just bought some nice Samsung R530s which were cheap enough

recently put 20 amd toshibas into a school without any probs, personally i tend to stear clear of the intel stuff unless i absolutely have to get it (due to supply issues).
