Internet Explorer 8 X86 and GPO

Not sure if anyone can help with this, but I've got the following problem:

 

I'm running Windows 7 Pro X64 on a domain running Server 2003. The proxy settings are passed by GP to clients using a pac file.

 

The problem I'm having is that while the 64bit version of IE8 is pulling in the proxy settings the 32bit version won't.

 

I'm open to suggestions on how to fix this issue.

Can you use the Internet Explorer Maintenance option (in Software Settings, IE Maintenance, Connection, Proxy Settings) to set the proxy instead of using a PAC file?

Yeah, that is how we do it on the rest of the network and it pulls in both the PAC and the proxy settings. The problem just seems to be with IE8 32bit. It's really strange as the 64bit version is working just fine.
