Hard Drive - Failed to initalise

I got an issue with the Heads Laptop Hard Drive.

 

it appears in the disk management in a win 7 machine plugged in via USB.

 

but right clicking on it to initalise it is no good as it will not do it.

 

It makes a noise (it spins and clicks etc) when powered but does not appear in my computer so no recovery software can read it.

 

need any advice you can please or companies that will help
