I'm looking for recommendation for a reasonably priced UPS to hang 4 servers off.

I think I figured the most cost-effective solution was to get two APC APC Smart-UPS 2200VA devices - they come in either tower or rack-mount form:

 

APC Smart-UPS 2200VA £589.00

APC Smart-UPS 2200VA 2U £829.00

 

The above prices are just the recommended retail prices from APC's website, you can find them a bit cheaper than that.

If you are still looking for Air con units these are pretty reasonable.

Ooh, thanks - we're still figuring out what to do with the air conditioning. How do those ones drain condensed water away - just through the exhaust tube? Are they okay running unattended in a dry server room/cupboard?
