Ring one of the schools and ask someone who has been quoted on the website.... Or at least get an email for them!?

I thought such fees were only tax-exempt for those people who were required to have it, e.g. doctors, and not people for whom it is just a damned good idea, such as teachers/techies?

It looks like a con,I think you can get your money back for union subs from the tax office anyway
