ChrisH Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 (edited) To my great surprise it has been 7 years since I took my last Microsoft exam and I am currently gearing up to update my qualifications. I cant for the life of me remember my Prometric ID (or pearson/vue or whatever it was at the time) how does it link to your MCP ID do you get a code or something to enter after the exam? I cant for the life of me remember. Edited June 19, 2010 by ChrisH
Kitkatninja Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 ...I cant for the life of me remember my Prometric ID (or pearson/vue or whatever it was at the time) how does it link to your MCP ID do you get a code or something to enter after the exam? I cant for the life of me remember. If it was from a Pearson Vue testing centre, I wouldn't worry about that now as they do not offer MS exams anymore. If it is a prometric account, I would contact Prometric customer services and retrieve your account details. Your MS MCP ID is linked to your Prometric testing centre ID, hence why you can just sit a MS exam and the exam is reflected (provided it's a pass with your MS account). However don't worry, either way, as for a few of us that had problems, duplicate accounts/MCP ID's, a couple of e-mails to both Prometric and MS sorted it out. -ken 1
ChrisH Posted June 19, 2010 Author Posted June 19, 2010 Thanks I thought that was the case. I just wanted some confirmation.
