How have you integrated?

I was just wondering how everyone got there Macs running on there network? We now have a few macs in school and we have it set up so that we have manually put in proxy settings so they can access internet etc, and that's pretty much it. But how would i map the shared drives to them etc? And generally have them on the network so they can access all there usual files etc?

 

ANY discussion on this would be appreciated.

There are numerous subjects on this throughout the entire mac forum. Also there is a guide at the top of this forum that shows how to integrate and manage mac machines on a Windows domain.

 

My advice would be to take a look at these and then come back with any questions/problems you encounter. Generally once you have gotten your head around the process then you will be in a better position to ask the right questions to resolve your issues.
