oalcock Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Hi Guys, On one of our machines in one of our IT classrooms, when anyone tries to play a video on and video software program installed (i.e. quick time, media player, VLC) - it shows really faintly as if someone has been messing with the brightness and contrast settings. It wont be the settings on the program itself as all the programs do it, also everything else that isn't part of the video on the screen is perfectly fine. Sorry I didn't do too well at explaining that! Can anybody help at all??? Much appreciated!!
LosOjos Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Have you checked the graphics cards settings? I know ATI has Avivo (I think it's called Avivo anyway) settings to control the brightness and contrast from the hardware, NVidia probably have something similair 1
oalcock Posted June 15, 2010 Author Posted June 15, 2010 Thank you!!! I restored the defaults on the video overlay settings. Thanks again!
