lasercat Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Does anyone know if I'd be able to convert trial copies of Windows Server 2008R2/Windows 7 to School agreement licences without breaking anything? I'm wanting to crack on building servers/images, and the delivery date for our new Schools Agreement isn't until the end of July. Cheers
featured_spectre Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 You would have to ask Microsoft about this, however I have found that most of the time it is image specific so if you had a trial version that does not incorporate all of the features of the full edition then it would not work. However clarify with MS as I said.
lasercat Posted June 11, 2010 Author Posted June 11, 2010 Nope, We are just about to sign for the Schools Agreement. We do have some copies of Office on a Select Agreement though.
lasercat Posted June 11, 2010 Author Posted June 11, 2010 OK, It seems That kind of question isn't really on the MS support 'Script" Does anyone know of someone at Microsoft who might be able to help? Thanks in advance
