Mythbuntu and Technotrend TV Stick.

Hi Guys,

 

I have a Techotrend TV Stick usb TV Tuner card that works fine in windows, but thinking of moving it to a Mythbuntu setup? Does anyone know if it will work?

Probably - it seems to support a huge range of cards.

 

You can run Mythbuntu from a Live CD so you don't have to change anything on your machine - that will tell you if it's going to work straight off. If that works then install it permanently. If not, get the device ID from Windows device manager and google that. sometimes USB TV tuners carry names like "technotrend" but are actually made by someone else and that's the driver you need to find.
