TechSupp Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 Anyone had any experience of these yet or its previous slightly smaller version? Fizzbook Spin - 10.1" Resistive Touch Panel, Intel Aton N450, 1.66GHz, Windows 7 Starter, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, SMART Classroom Suite. Options available - Windows 7 Pro Fizzbook Extended Warranty 2 or 3 Year CAR 6 Cell Battery Secure Storage/Charge Trolley
Itsmartie Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 I've played with a few demo versions and was really impressed. I'm assured the release is imminent but a little confused that people seem to already have them. Just google fizzbooks and the uk resellers are all saying September. Don't even think about buying without the Smart software as it makes such a difference in the classroom and incredible value
Itsmartie Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Yes. Fizzbooks will work and support an XP Network (guess most schools are on XP) BUT only if you but them with the Windows 7 Professional option. As this is recommended to most users anyway (unless desperate to save money and have the expertise) it shouldn't be a problem. See this blog listing why Pro is the better option Fizzbook laptop. Windows 7 Starter or Windows 7 Pro? Hope this helps
