CHR1S Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Does anyone know how you do this? We have tried dropping them in the library server side but then it wont show in the editor and it seems like you have to add them one by one. Anyone know a different way please?
SmellyLlama Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Know this is an old thread but did you manage to bulk upload stuff? I'm staring at a huge folder one of the teachers has given me!!
soveryapt Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 The easiest way (if you're good with SQL) is to upload all the files to the server and write a small SQL file that you can run on your database to put them all into the library. I'm not good with SQL but have done the slightly longer winded version by uploading them all and editing the SQL rows in phpmyadmin which is why I know it will work though. lol.
glennda Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 You could do - the other easiest thing to do is create a simple webpage which makes a slideshow of the pictures in a folder and then display that. All you then need to do is make a folder on a shared drive and then get staff to dump images to the folder and it will auto create you the slideshow something like this Automatic random slideshow from folder of images - WebDeveloper.com point xibo to the .htm and bobs your uncle.
