I want to upgrade the domain controllers to 2008 R2.

We are currently running the original Windows server 2003 Sp2 on 2 DC's.

Is it a simple case of installing a new 2008 R2 and giving it a domain controller role?

Cheers

Thanks, any problems with running Exchange 2003 in a 2008 R2 environment?

I've read conflicting reports on google.

Not heard any issues from people I know that use that setup.

On another thread here - can't find it at the moment there was a warning about problems if you raise the domain functional level to server 2008 with exchange 2003 so be careful and do some research.

I had a minor issue with Exchange 2003 in a 2008 R2 environment, but it was easily rectified by upgrading Exchange 2003 to the latest release.
