AngryITGuy Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Am I missing something or are Xibo layouts limited to a resolution of 800 x 600? I'm trying to setup a new layout with a 1024 x 768 resolution, each time I create a new resolution it keeps reverting back to 800 x 600. So it's either not supported or I'm doing something stupid.
tmcd35 Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Checkout Mangement -> Resolutions, and Mangement -> Templates. You assign a 'Template' to your 'Layout' when you create it. And each 'Template' is assigned assigned a 'Resolution', you can add more 'Resolutions' from the 'Management' menu.

When I create a New Resolution I give it a name and set the resolution to 1024 x 768 and hit Save. The Resolution list is updated with my new resolution details but the settings revert back to 800 x 600. I have also just noticed that I can't delete any resolutions that I jave created, couldi t be an issue with permissions?
dyoung5 Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Xibo doesn't really have resolutions, it has aspect ratios, and scales everything. E.G if you create a 1024x768, it will scale that to 800x600 to fit in the editor window, but if you output it to 1024 monitor it will fill the screen and scale the content back up. David
